Job Summary
As the Grants Administrator in the Division of Surface Water (DSW), you will manage state and federal grant programs, coordinate with program managers, supervise subgrant agreements, track budgets and spending, ensure compliance, and prepare reporting documents.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with DSW grant program managers to develop and implement comprehensive programs.
Supervise, coordinate, and administer state and federal subgrant agreements.
Provide timely updates to DSW administration and grant program managers.
Help program staff with the selection of subgrantees, ensuring appropriate subgrant workplan.
Ensure subgrantee compliance with federal and state grant guidance and regulations.
Qualifications
24 months training or experience in preparation & monitoring of grants &/or other fiscal accounts; AND 12 months training or experience in supervisory principles/techniques.
OR completion of undergraduate core program in accounting &/or finance; AND 12 months training or experience in supervisory principles/techniques.
OR 12 months experience as Grants Coordinator 2, 63162.
OR alternative, equivalent evidence of the Major Worker Characteristics noted above.
