Overview
We are a well-established real estate appraisal firm looking for a certified real estate appraiser to join our team on a part-time basis. Our company values quality, accuracy, and efficiency, and we are dedicated to providing our clients with the best possible service. We are seeking an experienced certified real estate appraiser to prepare market value appraisals for residential real estate properties. As a certified appraiser, you will be responsible for analyzing property information and market trends and providing accurate and detailed appraisal reports in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Inspect properties and gather data from property stakeholders
Analyze and evaluate market trends and conditions to determine property values
Produce accurate and detailed appraisal reports in compliance with industry standards and regulations
Maintain current knowledge of real estate trends and industry regulations
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
Participate in company training programs and stay up to date with industry best practices
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure high-quality appraisals and client satisfaction
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or associate degree in a related field
Must be a certified real estate appraiser in good standing
Minimum of 5 years experience completing residential appraisal assignments
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with appraisal software and tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Willingness to travel to different locations for property inspections
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Compensation and Benefits
Total compensation for this role includes 60% of the revenue generated for each completed order, plus a $50 incentive for every order completed beyond 35 in a calendar month. The benefits package includes $10,000 in employer-sponsored life insurance, health insurance, a 401(k) with employer match, and 100 hours of PTO accrued annually with increases based on length of service. Travel-related expenses will be reimbursed.
