Overview
Hennessy Research Associates - a Kemin company is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to support two active locations and an off‑site warehouse. In this role, you’ll transport raw materials, handle routine facility upkeep, and take on hands‑on maintenance. We’re looking for someone committed, curious, and resourceful, with strong communication skills for coordinating with third‑party partners and documenting work clearly. Responsibilities

Responsible for general and routine maintenance including light electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC.

Responsible for staging and loading all non‑bulk shipments.

Fabricate components from blueprints.

Machinery assembly and disassembly.

Preventative Maintenance (PM’s) and repairs.

GMP Compliance.

Perform maintenance on refrigeration.

Load/unload trucks, trailers, and containers (not including bulk tankers).

Follow all safety requirements.

Assist with the installation of equipment as needed.

Work with other departments such as Quality Control, Production, Inventory, Customer Service, Purchasing, and R&D.

May need to be available to be on‑call.

Qualifications

Education: High School degree with 1‑2 years of related experience.

Knowledge of warehousing operations is essential.

Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling or support equipment used in warehousing.

Troubleshoot and problem‑solve.

Time management skills.

Basic technical skills, including machine repair, piping, machine rigging, HVAC, etc.

Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.Read blueprints and technical manuals.

Qualified with Lockout‑Tagout, Confined Space, Hot‑Work Procedures, and PPE.
