Job Details
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the organization’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. This position will work closely with finance leadership and cross‑functional teams to support month‑end close, general ledger activities, and ongoing financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Prepare and review financial reports and supporting schedules.
Support audits through documentation preparation and auditor coordination.
Assist with cash management, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes.
Support additional accounting and finance projects as needed.
Additional ad hoc responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
Experience with month‑end close and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Large ERP knowledge.
