Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must possess the following:
Excellent customer service skills, effective oral and written communication skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Thorough knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment
Demonstrated ability to complete tasks independently
Proficiency to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data, and to prepare reports from such records
Good interpersonal skills and ease in relating to people from varying educational, cultural and social backgrounds
Responsible, reliable and punctual
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work of others
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of the MHFA curriculum
Skill in active listening and thoughtful communication; ability to understand and respond appropriately
Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's in sociology, psychology, public health, or any other related field.
Required Licenses/Certifications
Mental Health First Aid instructor certificate
Job Duties
Delivering the MHFA curriculum to the participants
Helping with training logistics such as scheduling sessions and participant registration
Promoting the training event in the community
Collect participant data during the session
Physical Requirements
Communicating with others to exchange information
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
Environmental Hazards
No adverse environmental conditions expected
