If you see an open position that is right for you, we encourage you to apply!**Eden Hall Farm Research and Education Assistant**Job description:The Eden Hall Farm Research and Education Assistant will support the Director of Sustainable Agriculture and Farm Manager in achieving research and education goals on the farm. This position ensures that we have the systems and data management processes in place to fully support the academics and operations of the Eden Hall Farm. The work of the Research and Education assistant provides evidence based analysis to improve our production practices, enhance student experience, and meet the dynamic needs of our agricultural programming.Required responsibilities:* Clean and manage data gathered on the farm, including farm seeding and harvest records, maple production records, integrated pest management records, and organic input records* Create annual harvest research reports and other requested data reports as needed* Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPS) as well as harvest and post-harvest handling guides

+ Create visuals and videos to supplement written SOP guides* Update farm website and newsletter (once a semester)* Assist in achieving Good Agricultural Practice certification, including building tracking mechanisms and implementing new systems* Research grants and education opportunities at the national and local level* Generate ideas for additional research and educational projects for the farm team to pursueQualifications:* Familiarity with agriculture and food systems* Ability to learn and use word, excel, PowerPoint, and Canva* Strong communication skills, both written and oral* Ability and interest in working collaboratively with a team of students, faculty, and staffAll current student employees should notify their other manager(s) if you work multiple jobs on campus at the same time. Additionally, students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year.
