Front Desk Receptionist
LHH is looking for a receptionist for a client in northern Cincinnati. The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, donors, clients, and staff. This role supports daily office operations by providing professional front-desk coverage, administrative assistance, and a welcoming environment that reflects the organization's mission and values. This position is a 23-month temp assignment that has potential to go permanent. The pay for this role will range between $17 and $19/hr.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist visitors, donors, and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls and emails.
Manage front desk operations, including mail distribution, package handling, and visitor logs.
Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference rooms as needed.
Provide general administrative support such as data entry, filing, scanning, and document preparation.
Assist with basic reporting, recordkeeping, and database updates.
Support staff with clerical tasks and special projects.
Maintain lobby and reception areas to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming appearance.
Follow confidentiality policies when handling sensitive or donor-related information.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer-facing role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
Interest in or alignment with the mission-driven work of a nonprofit organization.
