TIG Welder $20 - $26/HR
Responsibilities Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components according to production specifications and quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to understand weld locations, dimensions, and technical requirements.
Prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, fitting, aligning, and securing parts to achieve accurate and consistent welds.
Set up, operate, and adjust welding machines, tools, and equipment appropriate for MIG and TIG welding processes.
Work comfortably in various welding positions, such as flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead, as required by each job.
Inspect welds for quality, strength, and conformance to specifications, and correct or rework welds when necessary.
Use proper techniques to minimize distortion, warping, and defects during the welding process.
Perform basic fabrication tasks, including fitting, grinding, and finishing welded parts to meet final product requirements.
Follow established safety procedures at all times and comply with OSHA and other relevant safety standards.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and maintain a clean, organized, and safe welding booth.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals, support process improvements, and resolve issues.
Work up to 50 hours per week, including required overtime, to support production demands on assigned shift.

Work Environment You work in a large, modern, and very clean 256,000 square foot warehouse that is organized and not excessively loud.
Safety is the top priority, with well-defined procedures and a strong safety culture throughout the facility.
Welders are assigned their own dedicated welding booth, each equipped with a snorkel system that actively vacuums welding debris and helps maintain air quality.
The welding operations are organized into three departments: Sheet Metal, Tubular, and Prove Design (Fabrication and MIG/TIG), allowing you to work in specialized areas that match your skills.
All required personal protective equipment is provided, except for your own welding helmet and gloves, which you bring.
The role follows either a 1st shift schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or a 2nd shift schedule from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., with overtime available to reach approximately 50 hours per week
