Janitorial Maintenance
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in manufacturing areas by performing general janitorial duties. Tasks include trash removal, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, operating floor sweeper and scrubber machines, and maintaining outdoor grounds to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned:
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
Maintain cleanliness of outdoor grounds and facility yard.
Empty trash cans and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
Clean interior surfaces including windows, mirrors, and walls.
Perform light maintenance on power sweeper equipment.
Operate cardboard compactor and other cleaning equipment as needed.
Minimum qualifications:
Ability to read and write English.
Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business and production demands.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance, in-person and on-site.
Working conditions:
This position is based in a manufacturing or production environment and may involve exposure to loud noise, dust, moving machinery, or temperature fluctuations.
The role may require standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds and up to 30 pounds sustained, bending, kneeling, climbing, or using tools and equipment.
Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn when required.
Visual and auditory acuity are needed for safe equipment operation and effective communication in a busy workspace.
