Job Overview
The Department of Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy is seeking an outstanding candidate to join our faculty and provide leadership in clinical practice, teaching, scholarly, and administrative activities. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position at the rank of clinical assistant, associate, or full professor and will be located in Albany, Georgia.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include didactic and experiential teaching of pharmacy students, development and maintenance of an active clinical practice site, participation in scholarship, and active engagement in citizenship to the college. The faculty member will also serve as the Extended Campus Coordinator (ECC) for the P3 Albany Extended Campus Site, focusing on contacting, collaborating, communicating, and connecting with issues related to the P3 campus and associated parties.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a Pharm.D. degree and possess a current license or demonstrate the ability to obtain a license to practice in the state of Georgia. A history of teaching is required, either through fellowship training, postdoctoral training, or at least two years of prior teaching experience in a college or school of pharmacy.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference for candidates with experience developing and maintaining clinical practice and scholarship in rural health, population health, ambulatory care, internal medicine, family medicine, infectious disease, cardiology, or community practice. Strong communication skills, potential for excellence in teaching, an established teaching record, demonstrated excellence in teaching, evidence of scholarship, and evidence of academic administration are also preferred.
