Litigation Docketing Specialist
to support its expanding practice. This is a newly created position driven by growth, offering the opportunity to play a critical role in
litigation support ,
court calendaring , and
deadline management .

Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years of experience in
litigation docketing
or
legal calendaring
within a
law firm
or
legal services environment
Strong knowledge of
federal and state court rules , including California, Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey
Experience with
docketing software
(CourtAlert or similar)
Familiarity with
CM/ECF filing systems
and
state eFiling platforms
Proven ability to manage
high-volume, deadline-driven work
with accuracy
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office ,
PDF tools , and
document management systems
(e.g., iManage)
Exceptional
attention to detail
and
organizational skills
Strong
analytical thinking
and ability to interpret legal documents
Excellent
communication and collaboration skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities under pressure
Key Job Functions
Review and interpret court filings to accurately
docket litigation deadlines
using
docketing software
(e.g., CourtAlert)
Calculate and calendar deadlines based on
federal and state court rules
Maintain and update
case calendars
and respond to attorney and staff requests
Monitor court activity and adjust deadlines to ensure
compliance with procedural rules
Collaborate with cross-office teams to standardize
docketing processes and workflows
Support
electronic filing functions
and maintain
CM/ECF accounts
Ensure all docket entries align with firm protocols and jurisdictional requirements
