Drop/Count Team Member

Performs coin and currency drop according to procedures. Weighs, counts, and wraps coins in gaming operations. Responsible for counting and recording income figures from operation departments and preliminary preparation for comprehensive daily reports.
Perform count performance in accordance with established procedures Accurately counts currency Assists in verification of income figures from operating departments Is current on facility disaster plan and responds accordingly Keeps confidential about activities and financial activities that transpire in the count room Is helpful, courteous, and friendly with other Team Members and customers Performs procedures within the boundaries of all regulatory agencies Works safely, and efficiently utilizing techniques Weighs, counts, wraps and records drop according to procedures Maintains upkeep of hard/soft count room Notifies Count Room Supervisor of malfunctioning equipment Must be able to work closely with other Team Members Must be able to work in closely supervised and controlled environment Other duties as assigned.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Effective communication skills required. Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate. Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations.
While employed, you must maintain a valid and active Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission License. Must complete TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) training for serving alcohol responsibly within three months of being employed and maintain a valid certificate while employed thereafter.
