Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction estimating, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates.
* Collaborate with the pre-construction team to ensure project feasibility.
* Evaluate project proposals and provide feedback to stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
* Assist in the preparation of bid documents and contract negotiations.
* Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to management.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
