Operations Assistant- Time & Attendance
Tellworks, a growing 3PL provider, is currently seeking Operations Assistant- Time & Attendance in our Jeffersonville, IN warehouse.
Schedule:
Monday: 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM
Wednesday: 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM
Job Summary:
The Time and Attendance Coordinator is responsible for monitoring employee time records, ensuring accurate payroll data, and maintaining compliance with company attendance policies. This role works closely with HR, supervisors, and employees to resolve timekeeping issues, track attendance, and support payroll processing.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain employee time and attendance records in the timekeeping system
Review timecards for accuracy, missing punches, and attendance discrepancies
Communicate with supervisors and employees to resolve timekeeping issues
Track employee attendance, tardiness, and absences according to company policy
Maintain documentation for attendance-related corrective actions
Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations regarding time reporting
Provide support with leave tracking, including PTO, sick time, and other absences
Generate weekly attendance reports for management
Generate daily headcount reports for management.
Assist HR and management with attendance investigations when necessary
Maintain confidential employee information and records
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
13 years of administrative, HR, payroll, or timekeeping experience preferred
Experience with ADP preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Non-Physical Demands:
Must be reliable and dedicated to good attendance
Must demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal English.
Must be available to occasionally work overtime, as required
Must be adaptable to changing work tasks and workload
Must be dedicated to working safely
Must be dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service
Spanish speaking a plus
