Credit and Returns Representative
The Credit and Returns Representative processes customer credits and returns accurately and on time, working closely with the accounting team to ensure all credits are properly recorded. This entry-level role offers training, exposure to multiple areas of the business, and clear opportunities for growth within a supportive, family-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Process customer credits and returns accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate closely with the accounting department to ensure all credits are captured and not missed.
Review and analyze individual claims, identifying issues and determining appropriate resolutions.
Perform light scanning and filing of documents related to credits, returns, and claims.
Use computer systems and 10-key input to enter and update credit and return information.
Communicate clearly with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or questions related to credits and returns.
Organize and prioritize daily workload to meet deadlines and service expectations.
Work both independently and as part of a team to support overall department goals.
Essential Skills
Customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously.
Strong computer skills, including accurate 10-key data entry.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve individual claims.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Openness to learning and training in credit and returns processes.
Interest in growing into other areas of the company over time.

Work Environment
This is an onsite role in a positive, family-owned business environment that values collaboration and long-term growth. The team offers flexible start times, with most team members beginning their day between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. and working an eight-hour shift. You will work primarily on computers using Microsoft Office and other internal systems, with some light scanning and filing of documents. The workplace promotes a supportive and team-oriented culture where entry-level employees have the opportunity to develop their skills and advance into other areas of the company.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cottage Grove, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
