Trillium Construction is now hiring an Assistant Supertintendent in Dwight, IL.
Our client is a top solar contractor specializing in large utility scale solar projects across the country. They are now hiring for an Assistant Superintendent and a Safety for their project in Dwight, IL. This is a contracted position paying up to $28/hr.
Duties
Implement and enforce site-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Conduct daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site inspections.
Identify potential hazards and coordinate corrective actions with site leadership.
Maintain safety logs, incident reports, and corrective action documentation.
Ensure all personnel and subcontractors are trained and compliant with PPE and safety requirements.
Support the development of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and pre-task plans.
Assist the Superintendent in daily field operations, scheduling, and coordination of crews and subcontractors.
Monitor progress, quality, and productivity to ensure adherence to plans and timelines.
Help track materials, deliveries, and equipment needs.
Support inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities.
Serve as a liaison between field teams and project management to maintain clear communication.
Maintain accurate daily logs, photos, and safety reports.
Support compliance with project documentation requirements (permits, audits, inspections).
Report progress and safety metrics to project leadership regularly.
