Overview
We are seeking an experienced
ERP Business Analyst
to support and optimize enterprise HR and payroll systems, with a focus on
Workday
and
UKG . This role sits at the intersection of business operations and IT, driving system enhancements, configuration changes, and cross-functional alignment across HR, Payroll, Finance, and Materials Management.
We are open to:
Senior-Level Analyst
with deep expertise across both Workday and UKG, or
Mid-Level Analysts
specializing in either Workday (HR-focused) or UKG (Payroll-focused)
Key Responsibilities
Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance/AP, and Materials Management teams to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations
Lead and coordinate cross-functional meetings related to system updates, enhancements, and ongoing initiatives
Configure and optimize
Workday (HR-focused)
and/or
UKG (Payroll-focused)
systems
Support system upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement efforts
Manage and fulfill service requests (enhancements, updates, and changes), with minimal focus on break/fix support
Analyze current processes and recommend improvements to increase system efficiency and performance
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
Drive optimization efforts, particularly within UKG as the platform continues to mature in the environment
What You’ll Be Doing (Time Breakdown)
~50% : Cross-functional coordination, system updates, and stakeholder communication across HR, Payroll, and related departments
25–30% : Handling service requests (enhancements, changes, and optimizations—not incident response)
Remainder : System configuration, process improvements, and upgrade support
Required Qualifications
Experience as a Business Analyst, ERP Analyst, or Applications Analyst within enterprise systems
Strong hands-on experience with:
Workday (HR module, technical configuration preferred)
UKG (Payroll configuration; not focused on advanced scheduling)
Demonstrated ability to perform
technical configuration , not just functional/business-side support
Experience working across multiple business domains (HR, Payroll, Finance, etc.)
Strong communication skills with experience leading cross-functional discussions
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive system improvements in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting both
Workday and UKG
Background in ERP environments that include Finance/AP and Materials Management
Experience in system optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
Familiarity with organizations early in their UKG implementation lifecycle (e.g., within first 1–2 years)
