Shipping Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule shipments, including customer samples, to ensure timely delivery of products.
Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to arrange transportation and resolve any shipping issues.
Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and address any delays or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities and update the shipping database.
Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient loading and unloading of shipments.
Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
Assist in inventory management and perform regular stock checks.
Provide excellent customer service and address any shipping-related inquiries or concerns.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
Proven experience in shipping coordination or a similar role, preferably in an industrial setting.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures.
Physical Capabilities:
Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing various physical tasks such as reaching, climbing, and moving around an industrial warehouse.
Work Schedule:
Full-time position with the possibility of overtime.
Monday through Friday schedule, working on 2nd Shift.
2nd Shift Hours: 3pm - 11:30pm
2nd Shift Differential: +$1 per hour
Hourly Pay Range: $30 - $34 per hour
