This position works under immediate supervision and requires some knowledge of accounting systems and procedures. Responsibilities include performing data entry, processing vouchers, submitting invoices, preparing local funds for voucher payments, validating vouchers, verifying mathematical accuracy, reconciling discrepancies, verifying appropriation sources, matching invoices to delivery receipts and purchase orders, preparing reports, posting receipts, balancing accounts, performing clerical tasks, composing and editing correspondence, maintaining files, operating equipment to generate reports and correspondence, answering telephone inquiries, greeting customers, responding to complaints, completing forms, handling inventory control, attending meetings and trainings, assisting other financial associates, working on special projects and committees, and performing other duties as assigned.
