Registered Nurse (RN) – ER Services
Job Type: Full Time | Evening

Schedule: 3x12, Evening (1p to 1a)

About the Role
The ER is a 12‑bed unit that provides direct patient care to critically ill adult patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Responsibilities
Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
Document patient care provided.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
Evaluate patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts or units as needed.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Current Kentucky or compact state RN license and associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
Certifications: BLS required within one month of hire; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care required within specified periods.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
