An Addison Group client is seeking a Customer Service Representative for their Bensalem office. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position, working fully onsite.
Job Description
The Customer Service Representative will support logistics operations by providing efficient customer service, accurate data entry, and proactive collaboration with various teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prompt and accurate data entry of customer orders into the system
Monitor driver deliveries and pick-ups for on-time performance
Prepare tracking reports to ensure smooth logistics management
Develop a comprehensive knowledge base of customers and their needs
Build and maintain customer relationships for satisfaction and loyalty
Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly
Understand and comply with rail carriers and piers operational procedures
Collaborate with Dispatchers to prevent and resolve logistical issues
Liaise with the Revenue Team to retain and develop business opportunities
Proactively trace and monitor loads to prevent issues
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Experience in customer service or logistics is preferred
Strong data entry and communication skills
Ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
Knowledge of logistics or transportation operations is a plus
