Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support high-priority logistics operations. This role is heavily focused on shipment coordination, tracking, and communication across internal teams and drivers. The position supports critical, high-value shipments and requires strong attention to detail, urgency, and organization.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery
Provide frequent status updates and ensure accurate tracking of high-value loads
Communicate directly with drivers, internal teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues
Manage multiple email inboxes and respond promptly to inquiries
Utilize transportation management systems to trace shipments and update records
Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading and proof of delivery
Maintain hourly tracking updates for sensitive or high-risk shipments
Identify and resolve service issues while escalating complex situations when needed
Partner with internal teams to improve processes and service delivery
Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience within freight brokerage or 3PL environments
Background in dispatch, operations, or logistics coordination preferred
Experience communicating with drivers is required
High school diploma or GED required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook
