The North Carolina Department of Revenue is recruiting for a Supervisor of Forms Processing in our Submissions Processing Division (SPD). The primary purpose of the SPD Forms Processing Supervisor is to effectively plan for and monitor the workflow in a demanding, fast paced environment by prioritizing processing priorities during peak periods and throughout the entire year. This is a full-time onsite position with the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

- Track inventory and statistics utilizing a database and excel spreadsheets and timely complete division reports

- Identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently, collaborate with the manager to keep others apprised of the unit’s status as necessary

- Make recommendations for the number of seasonal employees required to meet established goals

- Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day performance of employees by creating a team schedule to delegate work while setting goals and production standards

- Documenting, reviewing, and discussing performance with each employee periodically throughout the year, and completing yearly evaluation

- Provide training and onboarding new hires to make sure they understand their roles, provide continuous training to ensure staff have the various skills necessary to successfully complete their duties

- Use discretion and demonstrate sensitivity to confidential matters, and comply with, implement and enforce policies and procedures**Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences*** Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint* Experience with evaluating employees' performance* Experience with office equipment and other relevant technology (software and systems) to meet the organizational needs* Experience with written and verbal communication* Time management and organizational skills experienceRecruitment Range: $33,902 - $46,000***Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification.
