Job Profile: Job Title Quality Control Supervisor; Department Quality; Direct Supervisor Lead Quality Control Supervisor; Direct Subordinates Outgoing Quality Control.
Job Summary
Process and product inspection management
Direct and conduct Process and Product audits
Organize, summarize and analyze quality data to monitor the process and improve quality
Lead, organize and implement analyzing, handling, following up, and improving of internal quality issues
Supervise the Outgoing Quality Control inspectors
Conduct risk analysis and decision making
Assist in handling customer complaints
Assist with second and third party audits
Job Functions and Duties
Process inspection management
Prepare inspection standards and test specifications for product production processes and, after approval, organize implementation
Establish and maintain production reserved samples, defect samples and limit samples
Supervise personnel to inspect quality of semi-finished and finished products and process quality according to inspection standards and detection specifications
Prepare MSA plan and organize implementation; propose improvement actions for unacceptable MSA
Train operators and online inspectors to evaluate and handle non-conforming products; establish and maintain product repair/rework specifications
Collect data and summarize reports for daily, weekly and monthly reviews within the quality department
Process and Product audit management
Prepare product and process audit specifications; after approval, organize implementation
Prepare audit plans, implement, track and feedback the implementation and removal of nonconforming items
Participate in product inspections and reviews during new product development, quality gate reviews before mass production, and process reviews
Participate in internal and external audits organized by the company
Organize regular reviews of company fixtures and mold test tools; recognize and manage process change points
Quality problem handling and improvement
Timely responses and proper handling of quality problems occurring during production; report material quality abnormalities
Handle customer complaints and return of goods; SOP + 3 months and track effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions with the customer quality engineer
Establish and implement process statistics and analysis; identify deficiencies or risk points related to process capability and continuously improve process and product quality
Regularly analyze process quality; prepare and report analysis findings
Other duties relating to Quality Assurance
Responsible for direct supervision of the Quality Control Supervisor within the workshop
Responsible for training and verifying operator and online inspector qualifications related to quality inspection skills
Responsible for compiling, archiving and transferring materials related to new product development processes
Reporting
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly/annual quality reports; process and product audit reports

Qualification and Experience
Language
English; ability to read, understand and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions; interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to communicate effectively with team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
Experience
1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; experienced in production line and QC of the company for over one year.
Education
Associate's degree or above (Mechanical and Electrical Engineering majors preferred).
Physical Condition
Stand for long periods; ability to turn, reach, bend, squat and lift up to 50 pounds
Visual acuity requirements: near, far, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision
Safety: safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots
Other Requirements
Mathematical skills: basic arithmetic in all units of measure
Reasoning ability: practical problem solving
Computer skills: familiarity with manufacturing software
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Professional knowledge : familiarity with manufacturing principles and processes; IATF 16949 quality management system; supplier quality management; requirements of quality management system
Basic skills : MS Office; document writing; reporting, analyzing and problem solving
Other skills : on-the-spot process audits; QC7 analysis; SPC; MSA; process audits; knowledge of production site processes and standard operating procedures
Additional Skills
Timely quality hazard detection and escalation prevention
Maintain process stability and implement corrective actions
Field safety management compliance
Training
Trained in IATF16949, quality management, process audit, final product audit, SPC, QC7, TPM, 5S, MSA, computer applications, etc. Qualification certificate of internal auditor.
Work Environment
Exposure to extreme heat occasionally; generally moderate noise. Safety glasses and steel-toed boots required.
