Now hiring HVAC/R Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team! Maintain existing Commercial and Residential Heating/Air Conditioning systems, Ice Machines and Refrigeration equipment. Smithco is a great company to work for!

Responsibilities:
Preventative maintenance of A/C systems (clean coils, clear drains and change filters) at assigned Commercial & Residential locations
Preventative maintenance of Refrigeration equipment like Reach-in or Walk-in coolers/freezers (clean coils, clear drains) at assigned Commercial locations.
We will train you!
Perform Full Tear Down Cleanings on Commercial Ice Machines.
We will train you!
Adhere to all safety policies and procedure
Respond to emergency Service requests (as a backup to a Lead Tech) on the easiest On-Call schedule around the industry
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year field HVAC experience working at a professional company
Refrigeration or ice machine experience is a big plus and adds to your compensation offer
Possess personal tools necessary for the trade including gauges, meters, leak detector and hand tools
Formal schooling from a State run Journeyman program Trade school
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Desire to expand your ability with comprehensive training
Clean driving record and background
