Medical Records Technician Vermont Army National Guard (VTARNG) The Vermont Army National Guard Office of the Deputy State Surgeon requires Medical Records Technicians to support Non-Clinical Case Management Services by maintaining accurate medical documentation, supporting case coordination, and ensuring compliance with medical records management standards for service members. Place of Performance: VTARNG State Medical Detachment, Green Mountain Armory, Camp Johnson Colchester, VT 05446 Period of Performance: Base Period: 12 July 2026 – 11 November 2026 Duty Hours: Monday through Friday 0730 – 1630; *Support for weekend Soldier Readiness Events may be required. Requirements: Experience in medical records management or healthcare administrative support Familiarity with military medical documentation environments preferred Strong organizational and documentation skills Experience handling sensitive records and protected information Ability to obtain and maintain installation access and Common Access Card (CAC), if required Successful completion of all required security processing and trainingThe Medical Records Technician shall provide non-personal support services including: Maintain, organize, and manage medical records for Service Members Ensure accurate documentation and records integrity Support case managers and Registered Nurses with documentation needs Track case files, records requests, and follow-up actions Coordinate records movement and records reconciliation activities Maintain compliance with Privacy Act, HIPAA, PII, and DoD security requirements Support reporting requirements and audit readiness Assist with Soldier Readiness event documentation requirements Prepare records for review by Government personnel Support quality control procedures and documentation reviews For additional information and compensation details, please email your most recent resume/CV to opportunities@cadgov.com or call (770) 357-2400 .
