Registered Nurse III Vermont Army National Guard (VTARNG) The Vermont Army National Guard Office of the Deputy State Surgeon requires Non-Clinical Case Management Services to support service members by promoting fitness, wellness, operational readiness, and deployability. Registered Nurses coordinate all aspects of care for individual patients, ensure proper utilization of medical services and resources, and provide support within, between, and outside VTARNG facilities. Place of Performance: VTARNG State Medical Detachment, Green Mountain Armory, Camp Johnson Colchester, VT 05446 Period of Performance: Base Period: 12 July 2026 – 11 November 2026 Duty Hours: Monday through Friday 0730 – 1630; *Support for weekend Soldier Readiness Events may be required. Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program preferred; graduation from an accredited nursing program required Current, active, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state or territory Minimum of five (5) years of professional nursing experience, with at least three (3) years focused on case management, care coordination, medical readiness, utilization management, or similar healthcare program support Prior experience supporting military treatment facilities, Department of Defense (DoD), National Guard, VA, or other federal healthcare environments is strongly preferred Experience working with medical readiness systems such as MEDPROS, MEDCHART, eCase, AHLTA, MODS, or similar case management and medical documentation platforms is strongly preferred Strong knowledge of HIPAA, Privacy Act, PII protection, and medical records documentation standards Ability to coordinate with providers, leadership, and multidisciplinary stakeholders to support Soldier readiness and case resolution Ability to obtain and maintain installation access, Common Access Card (CAC), and all required background investigation requirements Ability to support on-site operations Monday–Friday and weekend Soldier Readiness events as required The Registered Nurse III shall provide non-personal, non-clinical case management support services, including: Coordinate all aspects of non-clinical case management for assigned Service Members Review medical readiness requirements and assist with case tracking Support care coordination activities across military and civilian healthcare systems Ensure appropriate utilization of healthcare services and resources Maintain accurate case documentation and reporting Assist with the transition of care coordination and follow-up activities Support Soldier Readiness events and medical readiness initiatives Coordinate with medical providers, commanders, and case stakeholders Maintain compliance with Privacy Act, HIPAA, PII, and DoD security requirements Support Government reporting requirements and documentation reviews Participate in quality control procedures and performance monitoring For additional information and compensation details, please email your most recent resume/CV to opportunities@cadgov.com or call (770) 357-2400 .
