A part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in Pasadena, TX, serving two elementary schools on a contract basis. This role involves working 15 hours per week, sharing the schedule with another SLPA to provide effective student support.
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech therapy services following an established schedule at two elementary campuses.
Collaborate with bilingual Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for support and supervision.
Utilize designated therapy spaces at both campuses to conduct sessions.
Assist in supporting students with speech and language needs under SLP guidance.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress to supervising SLPs.
Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
Experience working in school-based or healthcare settings preferred.
Ability to collaborate effectively with bilingual SLPs and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong organizational skills to manage a split schedule between two campuses.
