Job Description: Pay £12.74 per hour. Location: Coalville Care Home. Hours: 40 hours per week (shift-based rota over 7 days including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays).

About The Role
As a Support Worker at Rushcliffe Care Group, your primary responsibility will be to provide physical, social, and psychological care to our service users. You will work closely with healthcare team leaders to ensure the well-being and dignity of individuals we support. Your key responsibilities will include:
Promoting the dignity and independence of individuals we support, taking into account their unique needs and backgrounds.
Assisting with daily activities such as personal care, meal times, and social interactions, while encouraging freedom of choice.
Participating in social activities, outings, and hobbies, helping to create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for those in our care.
Providing emotional and psychological support through active listening, conversation, and 1-to-1 activities.
Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided and reporting any changes in a service user’s physical or emotional state.
Adhering to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and clean environment for both service users and staff.
Undertaking training and development opportunities, including completing the Care Certificate within the probationary period.

About The Service
Coalville Care Home is a nurse led Sub Specialist Dementia Unit, providing person centred care for up to 20 individuals living with Dementia who may express behaviours. Coalville Care Home is Registered with the Care Quality Commission. Our experienced team works closely with health and social care professionals to deliver structured, person-centred support that enables service users to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.
Shifts run from 07:00 to 19:30 for days and 19:00 to 07:30 for nights, covering 3 shifts over 7 days, organised on a fair rota drafted four weeks in advance.
