Overview
FMS is seeking an early to mid-level litigation associate attorney to join our team.
Responsibilities
Represent employers and insurers before the Division of Workers' Compensation.
Represent insurers in medical fee dispute matters before the Division of Workers' Compensation.
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents for litigation matters.
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda to support case strategy.
Participate in depositions, hearings, and court appearances as needed.
Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel regarding case developments and strategy.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Two (2) – five (5) years of relevant legal experience preferred.
Active Missouri Bar license in good standing.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively solo.
