Travel Speech Language Pathologist – Flint, MI
Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services to patients ranging from pediatric to older adults in Flint, Michigan.

Duration: 15 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour shifts)
Shift: 8 hours, days
Employment Type: Travel (Contract)
Responsibilities
Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy to maximize patient abilities.
Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for pediatric and adult patients.
Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
Communicate patient progress or concerns to supervisors and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post‑charges to patient records.
Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, and applicable state/federal laws.
Qualifications
Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or who meets ASHA certification requirements.
At least 2 years of speech‑language pathology experience.
Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Independent decision‑making skills.
Strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety; compassionate and sensitive.
Critical thinker who can act quickly in emergencies.
