Responsibilities
Conduct speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy to maximize patient abilities.
Communicate patient progress, problems, and treatment plans to supervisors and team members.
Assist with patient scheduling and post-charge tasks to patient records.
Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standard, and applicable state/federal laws.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist with at least 2 years of SLP practice.
Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or satisfying ASHA certification requirements.
Independent decision-making skills and excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.
Compassionate, sensitive, critical thinker, and able to act quickly in emergencies.
