Position
Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Grantsville, Maryland.
Employment Type: Travel / Contract Assignment
Start Date: May 18, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts, 5 days per week)
Responsibilities
Administer speech therapy services, including evaluation and treatment for patients ranging from pediatric to older adults, based on diagnosed conditions.
Communicate patient progress or concerns to supervisors and team members.
Assist with patient scheduling and post-charge entries in patient records daily.
Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
Execute duties in compliance with company code of conduct, corporate compliance agreement, professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
At least 2 years of SLP experience.
Independent decision‑making skills.
Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Excellent bedside manner: Compassionate, sensitive, critical thinker, and quick to act in emergencies.
