Job Summary

Geisinger is seeking BC/BE Hematologists to join well-established cancer programs at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA and Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. This role offers early‑career and experienced clinicians an opportunity to develop their practice within a physician‑led organization that collaborates with surgical oncology, palliative medicine, radiation oncology, pathology, diagnostic radiology, and behavioral medicine to deliver quality cancer care.
Job Duties

Geisinger’s intellectual environment includes the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, more than 50 graduate medical education programs, and fellowship programs in hematology/oncology and palliative medicine. Physicians will train fellows and residents, participate in clinical trials, collaborate on research in the MyCode Community Health Initiative (275,000+ patient genomes), and contribute to innovative education programs that emphasize active learning and community engagement.

Qualifications

Education:

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (required)
Experience & Credentials:
Licensed Medical Doctor – State of Pennsylvania
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology (BC/BE)
