Your Experience & Skills
Experience in veterinary oncology and chemotherapy administration highly preferred
Veterinary Technician experience required
Phlebotomy and IV catheter skills required
Ability to monitor and recognize patient’s status, adverse reactions, and side effects of treatments
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, the oncology team, and other departments
Familiarity with Ezy Vet and Smartflow preferred
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities to effectively meet patient needs
About the Hospital
After Hour Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our growing Oncology team. As an Oncology veterinary technician, you’ll play an important role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey. Your life‑changing work will range from the hands‑on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests to support services including admitting and discharging patients.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the oncology service administering IV and oral chemotherapy, performing treatments, monitoring patients, and assisting in the care of patients
