Job Overview
Contract Nurse Practitioner opportunity with Yoh’s primary care client located in Weehawken, NJ. Requires autonomous provider experience in primary care. Clinic has a full‑time Medical Assistant as support.
Schedule & Pay
Schedule: Monday‑Friday 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
Duration: Aug 10 – Jan 7 (possible extension as leave of absence coverage).
Pay: $65–$75 per hour, based on experience.
Responsibilities
Travel Medicine encounters
Minor in-office procedures and testing: COVID testing (Rapid/PCR), strep, influenza or mono POCT testing, splinter removal, urinalysis/HCG testing, phlebotomy, nebulizer administration, EKG reading
Cerumen impaction removal, eye care (eye wash for foreign body), Pap smears and STD testing, breast examination, complete annual physical exams
Referrals for preventative care, wound care (minor burns, cuts, blisters), evaluating acute musculoskeletal injuries and splinting minor injuries (wrist, fingers)
Evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe treatments for acute and chronic illness
Administer vaccinations (TDAP, shingles, travel vaccines) and allergy shots, education on post‑care
Qualifications
Active nurse practitioner license(s) and certification(s) to practice
Master’s degree in nursing
BLS certification upon hire
Phlebotomy skills
Minimum 3 years clinical experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department
