
Hospital Operations Master's Intern

Job Summary: Provides analytical support to a project or department. Under the guidance of a Project Manager or Director, collects and researches data, performs analysis, offers recommendations, and presents results.
Essential Responsibilities
Contribute high-level analytical support to projects requiring knowledge in marketing, information management, finance, management, economics, or statistics.
Assigned to at least one project; produce results and report as a member of a project team; organize tasks, structure information collection activities, and set timelines.
Develop tools to identify and document best practices; prepare Excel, Word, or PowerPoint reports; work with Access database or similar to develop data extracts and management information reports; produce graphic information using Excel or PowerPoint.
Assist in developing management information and analysis; provide recommendations; help prepare formal presentations to communicate results at various management levels; identify alternative solutions to project issues; contribute to project plans to ensure timely deliverables; assist in identifying and developing training information.

Strong project management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to utilize Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access at a working level.
Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Education
Enrolled in or recent graduate of an MBA or other master’s level program from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of SQL or SAS highly desirable.
