Provide physical therapy assistance to patients in a skilled nursing facility under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, focusing on mobility, functional deficits, and goal attainment.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Active State PTA license required to start the assignment in North Carolina.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Experience in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care preferred.
Experience with mobility training, transfers, gait training, and therapeutic exercise preferred.
Ability to document patient care in electronic medical records preferred.
