Active RN license in Maryland or compact state (Registered Nurse)
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Pediatric ER, pediatric acute care, or similar emergency nursing setting
BLS certification (required)
PALS certification (preferred)
Strong pediatric clinical assessment, triage, and communication skills
Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced emergency unit
Responsibilities
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to pediatric patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
Perform triage, focused assessment, and treatment for pediatric emergencies
Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions according to protocol
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate and support families during stressful situations, providing clear discharge instructions and follow-up guidance
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold patient safety and quality standards
