Service Technician
Compensation: $25–$30 hourly, depending on experience.
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO accrual, referral bonuses, 401k with company match.
Job Summary
The Service Technician diagnoses, repairs, and services equipment such as forklifts, sweeper/scrubbers, and aerial lift equipment. Requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to conduct field and shop service work.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose equipment issues using mechanical and electrical knowledge
Inspect equipment using company diagnostic procedures to identify malfunctions
Disassemble, repair, and replace defective parts and components
Reassemble equipment and perform necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation
Install, service, and repair equipment at customer sites
Recommend major repairs or shop overhauls when necessary
Maintain service truck inventory and communicate restocking needs
Complete all required service documentation accurately and on time
Participate in company-sponsored training to stay current with industry advancements
Maintain company vehicles and operate them safely
Represent the company professionally in appearance and conduct
Support emergency breakdown coverage as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
Ability to diagnose and repair technical equipment issues
Basic math, reading, and communication skills
Ability to work flexible schedules as needed
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience servicing forklifts, sweeper/scrubbers, or similar equipment
Experience with equipment installation, repair, and maintenance
Completion of relevant manufacturer or vendor training programs preferred
Education
High school diploma or GED required
Technical or vocational training preferred
