
Transit Operations Student

Position Summary
Perform administrative and customer service‑related tasks for the Transportation department to support in‑office operations. Apply standard business and customer service practices with professional guidance and supervision in a small business environment with advanced computer software and customer interactions on a large scale.
Duties & Responsibilities
Answers telephone and greets visitors giving general information in response to inquiries; delivers oral and written messages. (70%)
Performs input of received data into a computerized system. (20%)
Other administrative tasks as assigned. (10%)
Qualifications
No prior experience necessary. Knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies: Ability to multi‑task, good customer service skills, basic keyboard/computer skills, basic language, spelling, communication and math skills.
Physical Demands
Sit for long periods of time in one location.
