Overview
Woodland Veterinary Hospital is growing, and we’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for technicians who want to fully utilize their surgical and anesthesia skills while contributing directly to high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs
Support an efficient surgical workflow by anticipating the needs of the veterinary team and patients
Communicate with clients to review treatment plans, answer questions, and provide clear, compassionate discharge instructions
This role is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about anesthesia and thrive in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
Schedule & Benefits
Schedule: This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts scheduled throughout the week including weekends.
Full-time benefits and compensation:
Compensation: $27-31 per hour, for each hour worked
Bonus package: $2000
CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure
Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance with choice of United Healthcare or Kaiser Permanente

Minimum Qualifications & Skill Set
3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of California
Proficiency in the following skills:
Venipuncture and cystocentesis
Placing IV catheters
Surgery prep and anesthesia monitoring
Dentistry including prophy, polish, radiographs, and charting
Experience with dental extractions is highly desired
