Grafton Animal Care Center is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for outgoing technicians who want to fully utilize their education and expertise while making meaningful connections with clients and their pets.

In This Role, You Will

Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.

Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.

Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.

Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

This position is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about exceptional patient and client care, and ready to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team-focused environment.

This is a full-time, or part-time position, with availability needed Monday-Friday with a focus on day shifts. No weekends!

Full-time benefits and compensation

Compensation: $16-18 per hour, for each hour worked*

Bonus package: $2,000

CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum Qualifications And Skill Set

1+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting

Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of West Virginia

Proficiency in the following skills:

Surgery prep and assisting

Inpatient care

Phlebotomy

Sample collection

Client education

Grafton Animal Care Center has been serving Taylor County since 1984. This small animal-exclusive clinic offers a range of services including wellness exams, vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and minor surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, and mass removals. While the center provides essential diagnostics like blood screenings and urinalysis, more advanced imaging services are available at their main facility, Fairmont Veterinary Hospital. The clinic operates by appointment only, and is known for its compassionate care and commitment to treating pets as family.
