Job Description Summary
Road Technician (Pump and Power Road)
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Pump and Power Road Technician 1 to perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs in the safest and most effective way possible, with an emphasis on returning equipment to service to avoid downtime.
Responsibilities
Perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs on Pump & Power equipment.
Ensure equipment is returned to service promptly to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
3‑5 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
DOT Physical Examination (Medical Card).
EPA Section 608 universal Certification required.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Understanding of basic refrigeration (EPA Certified), electrical engines and controllers.
Familiarity with dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters.
Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heater and shoring; understanding of diesel equipment, generators and air compressors.
Understanding of compressed air treatment (dryers/filters/aftercoolers).
Ability to read electric schematics and hydraulic flow drawings.
Physical Demands
The physical demands of this role include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.

Base Pay Range: $26.46 - $38.03 per hour (starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and/or experience).
