Founded in 1996, RQC, LLC has built a strong reputation as a key contributor to Southern California's commercial and government Design-Build construction industry. Based in Carlsbad, California, we operate as a full-service Design-Build firm, delivering projects across the United States through dedicated field teams assigned to each jobsite. Position
We are currently seeking experienced
Construction Project Managers (PMs)
to join our
West Coast
Field Operations team, supporting military construction projects based in
Monterey, California . In this role, Project Managers take full ownership of projects, guiding them through every phase—from initial concept and design development to final delivery, while upholding RQ\'s Mission, Vision, and Values.
Responsibilities
Own projects across all phases from concept to delivery.
Lead coordination with design teams, subcontractors, and field operations to meet project goals, timelines, and budget.
Maintain compliance with applicable DoD requirements and RQC standards.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $130,000-$160,000 annually, depending on experience
Benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) plan with company match
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required; a combination of relevant experience and field training may be considered
Minimum of two years of experience in commercial construction project management (or equivalent)
At least six years of progressive experience in the construction industry in roles such as Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager, or similar positions
Experience working within a Design-Build environment is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and general internet use is required
Familiarity with industry tools such as Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, and Revit is preferred
CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications are required (training available if needed); STS certification is a plus
LEED Green Associate (GA) or Accredited Professional (AP/AP+) credentials are preferred
