Entry‑Level Manufacturing Technician
Facility address: 3455 South McQueen Road, Chandler
Available shifts: 2 openings – specific shifts TBD; options are Sun–Tue or Thu–Sat (plus every other Wednesday) from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.; or Sun–Tue or Wed–Sat (plus every other Saturday) from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. (includes 15% shift differential)
Climate‑controlled facility
Must wear full head/face respirator for part of each shift and pass pre‑employment physical and spirometry assessment
Manufacturing / Production Technician Summary
Performs setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
Develops test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams
Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems
Completes rework on assemblies and/or systems as required by testing
Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommends solutions to technical problems
Assists in selection and setup of specialized test equipment
Duties & Responsibilities
Demonstrates knowledge of the overall organization
Demonstrates knowledge of at least two or more functions
Coordinates several different functional activities
Applies standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques
Uses experience to integrate work product with other functional teams
Works under normal supervision and follows established direction
Decides on daily activities, uses new methodologies, and makes decisions to meet job requirements
Work reviewed by functional leaders to ensure coordination of objectives
Contributes to projects that drive organizational collaboration
Produces work important to more than one function
Failure to accomplish results may impact timing or cost for program or product
Non‑delivery may result in allocation of additional resources
Qualifications
HS diploma (required)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to pass physical and spirometry pre‑employment testing
Shift flexibility
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, including (but not limited to)
Forklift experience
Materials handling
Machine cleaning
Quality assurance
