If diagnosing PLC inputs, tracing AC/DC drive issues, reading hydraulic schematics, and swapping a faulty servo in record time sounds like your kind of night, you’ll thrive here. You’ll support critical production assets—especially CNC lathes and warm forge presses—so operations stay on schedule.
Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair electrical systems and components per electrical codes and technical drawings.
Diagnose electrical faults, repair or replace defective parts, and confirm correct operation.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and boost equipment reliability.
Record maintenance activities, findings, and part replacements with accuracy.
Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and plant personnel to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in a production‑focused setting; strength in CNC machinery and mechanical press troubleshooting preferred.
Knowledge of AC/DC drives, servo motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial controls.
Ability to interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic blueprints.
Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic abilities.
Effective communication skills and basic computer literacy.
Openness to overtime and flexibility across shifts when required.
Location & Schedule
Based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Overnight coverage from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
