Business Analyst III – 100% Remote, 7 months contract with possible extension, $50-$60/hr on W2, DOE.

About the Role
Our client seeks a Business Analyst to support cross‑functional initiatives by defining clear requirements, providing data‑driven insights, and ensuring structured execution. The role involves documenting business needs, supporting technical troubleshooting, and contributing to project delivery across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

Gather, document, and validate business requirements, user stories, and process flows in partnership with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Support technical debugging by triaging issues, documenting reproduction steps, coordinating inputs, and tracking resolution progress.

Maintain project plans, status reporting, RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and execution documentation.

Translate complex technical concepts into clear written and verbal communications for varied audiences.

Apply basic AI concepts and tools (e.g., prompt‑based analysis, summarization, lightweight automation) to improve documentation and workflow efficiency where appropriate.

Facilitate stakeholder meetings, capture decisions and action items, and follow through to closure.

Ensure documentation and deliverables are accurate, well‑organized, and aligned to defined timelines.

Minimum Requirements

3+ years of experience in business analysis, technical program/project coordination, operations, or a related role.

Experience supporting technical debugging or issue triage with engineering or technical teams.

Project management fundamentals, including planning, prioritization, dependency tracking, and status reporting.

Basic AI skills (e.g., familiarity with AI‑enabled productivity tools and practical application).

Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially synthesizing ambiguous inputs into structured outputs.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Additional Hard Skills

Project management experience.

Technical troubleshooting experience.

Access management, role‑based provisioning, security operations.

Nice to Have

AI experience or building/automation experience using AI.

Stakeholder management (business operations, security).
