Phlebotomist II – Leander, TX
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational Saturday work.
Pay
$23.06+ per hour, based on skills, experience, education, and certifications. Eligible for annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities
Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
Administer oral solutions as trained.
Verify orders and enter data accurately using lab technology systems.
Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments when required.
Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
Perform non‑patient‑facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and using email.
Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance logs, temperature logs) as required.
Complete online and in‑person training courses on time.
Qualifications
Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Keyboard and data entry experience.
Flexible availability for weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record when required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Effective communication in English.
