Summary of the Role
The Financial Education Coordinator is responsible for supporting the delivery and coordination of retirement plan education programs for plan participants. This role partners closely with advisors, internal teams, and plan sponsors to organize educational meetings, prepare participant materials, and ensure clear, accurate communication of plan benefits and retirement concepts. The coordinator plays a key role in promoting participant engagement, improving understanding of 401(k) plans, and supporting overall financial wellness initiatives through effective education and operational support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Handles all support functions for the client’s financial wellness program: ordering employee incentive items, recording costs, tracking information, servicing general email and voicemail boxes, and completing all tasks related to incoming calls and emails.
Manages meeting input and availability in the RPAG system.
Schedules ad‑hoc meetings for employees with their assigned Financial Professional, tracks receipt of meeting summaries, and inputs data into client records.
Supports the team of Financial Professionals to provide an ongoing calendar of events and all necessary information for scheduled appointments.
Produces promotional materials for scheduled events, including email campaigns, flyers, and other materials as needed by clients.
Handles relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients, coordinating and conducting implementation calls, bi‑weekly status calls, and ongoing oversight of each client’s financial wellness program.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Business Acumen – Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company’s business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Client Relationship Management – Knowledge and ability to determine and satisfy client needs and maintain a partnering relationship during engagements.
Customer Experience Management – Implements strategies and techniques used to ensure that customers have a positive experience with the organization and its products and services at every touch point.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking – Understanding of the issues related to the decision‑making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions.
Effective Communications – Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs; read and understand details, directions, and tasks resulting from written communication from colleagues.
Bilingual – Spanish is a big plus.
Financial background preferred.

We’re proud to offer a competitive salary ($45,000‑$50,000 base range), PTO and paid holidays, 401(k) with match, and more. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, scope of the position, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
